![]() 18 in. x 24 in., Acrylic on canvas In Shamanism the four directions are always present and called upon. South direction reminds us to honour the Great Snake, asks that she wraps her coils of light around us, teaches us to shed the past the way she sheds her skin, walk lightly on Mother Earth and show us the beauty way. | ![]() 40 in. x 60 in., Acrylic on canvas The hummingbird symbolizes great courage, determination, flexibility and adaptability. This little creature weighs only ounces but is known for being fearless. They are known to fly up to 2000 miles for migration. Hummingbirds are always actively seeking the sweetest nectar, they remind us to seek out the good in life and the beauty in each day. | ![]() 18 in. x 24 in., Acrylic on canvas Dragons represent courage and power. They can provide clarity, illumination, insight into magic, vitality, and protection while we undergo transformation. In the past they have been feared and misunderstood creatures. I have arrived at the understanding they are beings of Light and from the Upper Worlds. Draku is a wind and fire dragon. |

In Hebrew the name Shekinah is one of the traditional names of God and relates to the Divine feminine and the Holy Spirit. | ![]() 18 in. x 24 in., Acrylic on Canvas Many Sacred Heart paintings have been created for Jesus and for Mary. Their hearts represent their divine love of for each of us. I created this painting to illustrate that we are all sparks of the Divine. When we overcome our human imperfections we are capable of loving each other unconditionally in the sea of humanity that surrounds us everyday. | ![]() 18 in. x 24 in., Acrylic on Canvas Buddha encourages us to find joy in the little things and appreciate the beauty that surrounds us. He reminds us to not take ourselves so seriously and to find time for laughter on a regular basis. I was guided to use the happiest version of yellow I could find as it also relates to the solar plexus chakra and we hold much of our power in this area. |
![]() 18 in. x 24 in., Acrylic on Canvas Mary's nudity is a declaration of her gentle feminine Divine power. She is able to conquer darkness with her tenderness, kindness, humility and unconditional love. I painted her with a golden aura as an indication of her saintliness and as a tribute to Renaissance artists. |
